By switching to S’wheat you can be a part of the change in creating a safer and more sustainable environment, with less plastic in the ocean and in our sea creature friends.
Our all-natural straws are the natural byproduct of the harvesting process, leaving behind zero waste.
Done with your straw? Return it back to the Earth by composting it in your backyard!
Eliminate Single-use Plastics
Why is single-use plastic harmful?
It’s only used once, but it can remain on earth forever and destroy ecosystems. Eighty percent of the plastic debris in the ocean comes from land. It washes out to sea from our beaches, streets, and highways.
It flows out through storm drains into streams and rivers and into the stomachs of sea turtles everywhere.
Even one straw can mean life or death for a sea turtle.
Straws are one of the top ten items collected during inter-coastal cleanups and are widely considered a “gateway plastic,” meaning that once a person stops using single-use plastic straws, they may be more willing to stop using other single-use plastics as well, such as bottles and food wrappers.
On a global scale, this can have a huge impact.
Support Marine Wildlife
The Sea Turtle Conservancy's mission is to ensure the survival of sea turtles within the Caribbean, Atlantic, and Pacific through research, education, training, advocacy, and protection of the natural habitats upon which they depend.
That’s why here at S’wheat we decided to team up with the Sea Turtle Conservancy to take it a step further in our joint mission to eliminate single-use plastic.
A portion of every sale is donated to the Sea Turtle Conservancy to help support marine wildlife and further their efforts.
Join us in saving the planet, one S'wheat sip at a time!
